Elderly Man Taken to Hospital After Alleged Assault in Welsh Park
Police are investigating after an elderly man was taken to hospital following an alleged assault in a park in Llandrindod Wells.
The incident happened at Rock Park at around 6.15pm on Wednesday, April 1, and left a man in his 80s with a facial injury that required hospital treatment.
A 21‑year‑old man from Newtown has been arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent. He has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Dyfed‑Powys Police are now appealing for anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
