Morrisons Brings Back Free Kellogg’s Breakfast Clubs for Families This Easter
Morrisons is relaunching its popular Kellogg’s Breakfast Clubs across its cafés nationwide, offering free breakfasts for both children and adults throughout the school holidays.
Anyone visiting a Morrisons Café can order a free Kellogg’s Breakfast, which includes a bowl of cereal and a portion of fruit. Customers can choose Corn Flakes or Rice Krispies, served with dairy or non‑dairy milk, plus a free apple or banana.
The initiative runs across England, Scotland and Wales during the Easter break and beyond, helping families manage rising food costs when children are home from school. Morrisons already operates its Kids Eat Free scheme all year round, allowing children to enjoy a free hot meal with any adult meal purchased.
Holiday hunger concerns rising
Research from Kellogg’s and Morrisons shows:
- 1 in 3 parents struggle to feed their children during school holidays
- The figure rises to 2 in 5 among parents aged 25–34
- 8 in 10 parents worry about food lasting until their next shop
- Children aged 5–11 ask for food roughly every two hours during holidays
- 77% of parents say they spend more on food when school is out
“We know holidays bring extra pressure”
Matt Khan, Senior Trader for Morrisons Café, said the supermarket wants to support families during a financially difficult time.
> “We know the school holidays can bring extra pressures for families, from food costs to keeping routines in place. We’re here to help by opening our Café spaces up for Breakfast Clubs to give families a chance to enjoy a simple, balanced breakfast together.”
