Amber Davies breaks silence after Strictly loss
Amber shared a heartfelt post on social media

Strictly Come Dancing finalist Amber Davies has broken her silence after missing out on the glitterball trophy.

The former Love Island winner and her partner Nikita Kuzmin went up against George Clarke and Alexis Warr, and Karen Carney and Carlos Gu, in last night’s emotional final.

Footballer Karen won the 2025 series, making history in the process, while Carlos celebrated his first trophy in the competition.

Amber, 29, had been pulled into Strictly as a last-minute replacement for Dani Dyer, who had to withdraw after suffering an injury.

During her time on the show, Amber was forced to hit out at criticism over her West End experience and cruel comments from trolls.

And last night, she spoke of how much Strictly had meant to her, saying: “It’s just been the best experience of my life, and dancing with [Nikita] has been the greatest honour.

“I’ve learned so much in four months, and I wasn’t even supposed to be here.”

Amber has now returned to social media after the final, sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram.

She said: “Hands down best night of my life!!! So so unbelievably happy for you two wonderful humans @kazcarney @gkx_carlos.

“Thank you so so much to guys for all love and support over the last 4 months, I’ll never ever forget it, this has been a complete dream.

“Thank you Judges for believing in me and for all your support, it’s meant the world to me @craigrevel @motsimabuse @shirleyballas @mrantondubeke.”

Paying tribute to hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly on their final show, she added: “@tessdaly @claudiawinkle congratulations on the most incredible run, I’m so glad I got to be a tiny little part of your Strictly memory.”

“& now time for a lil rest before @legallyblondeshow begins.”

Fans rushed to share their support, as one wrote: “Forever a winner! Well done girl, you were sensational.”

Another wrote: “You were sensational as always!!! A superstar! Thank you for the moments we will remember forever.”

A third echoed: “What a star! You shone from start to finish.”

This comes after Amber tearfully reflected on her Strictly journey during an appearance on It Takes Two last week.

"It makes me want to cry," she admitted to host Fleur East. "I can't believe I'm here, just the way that we started."

Wiping away tears, she added: "I just don't want it to be over."

She went on: "This is the last few days, and I'm so grateful. My alarm went off this morning... I'm such a crier at the minute. I jumped out of bed because I was thinking, 'Today's the last Tuesday,' so I just want to cherish every single moment that I have left with you."

Bursting into tears again, she laughed: "Why am I acting like I'm never going to see you again? I'm really bad at saying goodbye.

"The Strictly bubble is bursting. It came into my life with a vengeance and now it feels like it's leaving just as quickly.

"I've loved every single second of it, I'm going to miss it so much."

Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
